Does anyone know any Java tutorials that are good for someone without any programming experience at all?

Books, websites, videos, anything helps. Please include links or the title and author.Does anyone know any Java tutorials that are good for someone without any programming experience at all?
This guy has quite a number of Java tutorials as well as a lot of other programming tutorials as well.

If you're new at programming and have no experience at all, Java isn't the best programming language to start out with. Those IDEs can be confusing at times, I started out with Python programming before learning other languages, Python was easier to understand, didn't require complex IDEs, had a clearer Syntax, and was able to produce great 2D/3D applications. :)Does anyone know any Java tutorials that are good for someone without any programming experience at all?

It's free. You don't really need an up-to-date expensive book to learn the basics of programming, and for the most part beginning programming is pretty much all the same.

The best way to learn is by trying it yourself though, so try to write any examples they give by yourself before copying someone else's code.

Finding a class is the fastest way though, learning to program without a real teacher is definitely tougher than having a teacher to answer questions.
