Try Star BASIC, it is more complete and not just an academic exercise.
QBasic came with Win98. I remember it as primarily a DOS tool and hating it. But, I guess it beat the paper tape way of doing BASIC.Where can I find a good BASIC programming tutorial?
What you want is a programming tutorial and an explanation of BASIC syntax.
