Programming tutorials?

I'm 13 and I am starting to get interested in computer programming. So far the only things I've really done are editing programs, and using a program called rigidchips, but those are getting too easy, I want more of a challange, so does anyone know about any tutorials that would help me work with more complex programs.Programming tutorials?
Here are the three things you need. They are all free and you can start writing applications ityh them right away.

You will want the

Visual Basic Express Edition 2008

and

SQL Server 2005 Express Edition

w3schools.com

killer.php

php.net
The formula for a great computer programmer is simple but hard to put into action:

1) Find something you love to do and expand on it or create it (an open source project, a game, an IRC client, whatever)

2) Find the right programming language for the job. Python is a great introductory language for just about anything you want to do.

3) Find a tutorial or a book on google or amazon that matches your requirements (basics, advanced socket programming, and so on)

4) Get your project working, release it to the public, and get feedback

5) Listen carefully to this feedback and improve your code, tweak your code, break your code, and you will learn fast, well, and get tons of new skills in the process

The trick is just sticking with a project you love and seeing other people use it and give you feedback. The best programming language and concepts tutorials usually come in the form of fairly expensive textbooks for introductory college courses seeking to explain the basics. There are gems of tutorials on the internet, but you will have to google around to find them.

One of the lead developers on Mozilla Firefox started around your age, and today it has gotten him miles ahead of most other young adults his age. Good luck in your quest!
You can google what compiler you use followed by tutorial, and that should come up with a result or a few of that subject. pscode.com always helped me. I'm 14 now, and I've learned so much from pscode and google. Right now I know Visual Basic, PHP, some C/C++ and C#, Javascript, HTML, CSS, and more, all from google and pscode.
Books and Websites are my friends on this. I recommend starting with Visual Basic 6 and HTML, you can learn Visual Basic by reading books like

Learn Visual Basic in 21 days, etc. etc.
